Arnold Thomas began his lifelong career in deleading when he moved from California to Massachusetts at just 18 years old. His first role was with Safety First Deleading, one of the state’s earliest specialized companies, where he gained hands-on experience in the fundamentals of safe lead paint removal.
By his late 20s, Arnold had advanced to supervisor at Paint by Numbers in Easton, where he guided crews on complex residential projects and honed his leadership skills. He later brought his expertise to Straight Line Deleading and Enviro Tec Inc., further deepening his knowledge of full containment, regulatory compliance, and the rigorous inspection process.
Over the past 35 years, Arnold has managed every detail of interior and exterior deleading, from initial containment to post-remediation clearance testing. Known for his professionalism and approachable demeanor, he often quips, “Lead paint doesn’t scare me, but I make sure it never scares you.” Families and developers alike trust his expertise.
